For Adult Children

Caring for a parent is a lot. You don't have to do it alone.

Maybe you live far away. Maybe you live close and do everything. Either way, you are juggling your parent's care with your job, your family and your own life. When you work with us, you become our Care Partner: our main contact and teammate. We help you get organized so you can be their son or daughter again, not just their care manager.

A family's story

Maria lives in Ohio. Her father, Joe, lives alone in Raleigh and was recently diagnosed with early dementia. Maria spent her lunch breaks calling his doctors' offices. She wasn't sure he was taking the right pills, and her brother wasn't sure what she needed from him.

After a free 15-minute call, Maria chose the Care Roadmap and became our Care Partner, with Joe as our Care Recipient. In their first session, a care coordinator walked them through the Domain Assessment. Medications and home safety rose to the top. Joe's Care Map named three priorities, listed local resources, and gave Maria's brother clear jobs.

Maria wanted help sticking to the plan, so she upgraded to Care Copilot. Each month, she and her coordinator review what got done and what comes next. Her coordinator does the research and finds vetted options, so Maria knows exactly who to call. When she talks to her dad now, they talk about his garden instead of his paperwork.

This is a composite story. It combines common experiences of the families we serve. Names and details are made up.
